RESIDENCIES

2013 A one-month residency organized by The Colorado Art Ranch in partnership with the U.S Forest Service’s Aldo Leopold Wilderness Research Institute that allowed artists to accompany research scientists into the field. My residency took place in the Minnesota–Fresh Water and Deciduous biome where I accompanied a forest ecologist on a 4-day canoe trip and a geologist on a 6-day canoe trip in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness near Ely, Minnesota, US.

2012 A Rangeland Residency as part of the Ecotone exhibition organized by the Southern Alberta Art Gallery and the Field Notes Collective. During this residency I developed work for the Ecotone exhibition at SAAG and developed an educational art activity that was integrated into the grade five, science based, wetland field study in Beauvais Lake Provincial Park, Alberta.
